Using human-centered design alongside biomimicry, I dig into the context of the whole system to understand and shape human behaviors, minimize environmental impact, and find ways to solve social challenges using the power of design. Specialties: sustainable product/service design, visual thinking and graphic facilitation, and biomimicry applied to the innovation process
My Master's thesis research focused on how Biomimicry can be leveraged during the innovation process to design more sustainable and radically innovative products. I now apply these methods in my own work as well as train other innovators in how to integrate these concepts into their daily practices.
Stefanie has helped develop our considered product design offering. We bring designers, biologists, educators, and other talent together to help companies figure out how they might integrate biomimicry thinking into their innovation practices. We flex our systems-thinking muscles with organizations who want to create living products, impeccable services, and solve social challenges by design.
